What defines the part
Material grade and temper, revision, units, projection, general tolerance and critical characteristics.
What drives the price
Quantities, finish and its thickness, special processes, inspection level, packing and marking.
What it does not do
It does not judge whether the design works or whether a tolerance is achievable. Our DFM notes cover that after you send it.

Why does quantity matter so much?+
Setup, tooling and material buying change with volume. The same drawing can carry a materially different piece price at 100 and 10,000 pieces.
