The named facility
You are told which factory makes your part, what it makes there and which processes it runs. We do not anonymise the plant or pretend the network is our own factory.
A sourcing intermediary that hides the factory is asking for trust it has not earned. We name the facility that makes your part and set out the two commercial routes: order through us, or go behind us on agreed terms.
At a glance
There are two different questions behind supplier transparency. The first is who actually makes the part. The second is who carries the responsibility when it goes wrong. An answer to one without the other is not transparency.
Our default is simple: you order through Qumek and we carry the quality and on-time responsibility. We make some parts in house and use partner facilities for the rest. If you want to see the facility, you can audit it under a non-bypass agreement. If you want to buy from it directly, you can, under a procurement fee, and the quality and fulfilment responsibility moves to you.

Before a supplier is approved, we check the machinery, the quality system, the calibration records, the metrology, the material traceability and the spare capacity against your volumes.
If you want to audit the facility, we put a non-bypass agreement in place first. It protects the work of finding and developing the supplier while giving you access to the plant.
If you want to buy from the factory directly, the terms are a procurement fee on the procured value. The factory relationship and the quality and fulfilment responsibility become yours.
The commercial route is agreed before the factory is introduced, not after.
We confirm the part, the programme and why visibility matters: audit, second source, local content or a customer requirement.
We identify the factory, its processes and its role in your part. The qualification evidence is available under the agreed route.
Order through Qumek, audit under a non-bypass agreement, or buy direct under a procurement fee. Each route has different responsibility.
The chosen route is written into the agreement before production. There is no ambiguity about who answers for the batch.

Yes. The factory is named as part of the programme. What changes between the routes is who carries the quality and delivery responsibility, not whether you know where the part is made.
Yes, under a non-bypass agreement. The agreement protects the work of finding and developing the supplier and sets the terms of the visit before it happens.
Yes, under a procurement fee on the procured value. In that route the factory relationship and the quality and fulfilment responsibility become yours; we do not carry them.
Machinery, quality system, calibration records, metrology, material traceability and capacity headroom are checked before approval. The checks are repeated when a programme grows.
No. We make some parts in house and use partner facilities for the rest. We state that plainly; the value is the qualification, the drawing control and the record, not a claim that every process sits under one roof.
