Drawing and control plan
The critical characteristics, the inspection method, the sample size and the reaction to a failure are agreed before production. The control plan follows the drawing, not a template.
A certificate that says a batch was made is not the same as a record that says it meets the drawing. We inspect against the drawing, record the measured values and dispatch the record with the parts.
At a glance
The record is the difference between a part that was made and a part that can be shown to meet the drawing. It is also the first document a buyer reaches for when something goes wrong.
Our quality route starts at the drawing review and ends with a written approval before dispatch. The record fields are agreed with you, not left to a generic certificate.
The critical characteristics, the inspection method, the sample size and the reaction to a failure are agreed before production. The control plan follows the drawing, not a template.
The first part is measured across the drawing. A first article report or a PPAP at the agreed level is submitted for approval before serial release.
The record carries the drawing revision, material grade, plating and thickness, the critical dimension and tolerance, the measured value, the electrical test result where one applies, and the approval issued before dispatch.
Material certificates, certificate of conformity, RoHS and REACH declarations, and the origin and CBAM data your market requires. The pack is checked against the destination before dispatch.
The evidence is produced through the route, not reconstructed at the end.
We confirm which dimensions and tests decide acceptance, how they will be measured and what the record must show.
The first part is measured and reported. Production does not continue until the first article is approved.
In-process and final checks follow the control plan. The measured values are recorded against the drawing revision.
A written approval covering dimensional verification and document review is issued before the goods move. The record ships with the batch.

The service is used with these products and the tools that support the drawing.
The drawing revision, material and grade, plating and thickness, the critical dimension with tolerance, the measured value, the electrical test result where a test applies, and the approval issued before dispatch. The fields are agreed with you.
Yes. A first article report is made for a new part or a changed process. PPAP is provided at the level your programme requires, agreed before the run.
Qumek holds ISO 9001:2015. Our manufacturing partners hold AS9100 Rev D, ISO 13485:2016 and IATF 16949:2016. RoHS and REACH compliance is provided as declarations with traceability.
Yes, with the shipment. It states that the batch meets the drawing and the purchase order. The batch record carries the measured evidence behind it.
The batch is contained, the record is checked against the drawing, and the part is remade or credited where it does not meet the drawing. The same record tells us which lot and which process to correct.
