Report structure
Form 1 records part, drawing, supplier, purchase order, lot, serial, inspector and FAI type. Form 2 records material and special-process certificates. Form 3 is the characteristic results table. The layout follows the AS9102 Rev C logic but is not an official AS9102 form.
Conformance
A characteristic passes when every measured value is inside the stated lower and upper limits. If no limits are entered, the result is recorded but not judged. A blank sample is not treated as a pass. The summary bar counts measured, pass, fail and not-measured rows.
Ballooning and files
PNG, JPG, SVG and PDF drawings can be attached for reference. On an image, clicking places the next balloon. The drawing stays in your browser; only the file name is included when you send the report. PDF drawings are displayed in an embedded viewer.
Exports and storage
PDF export lays out the characteristic table across pages. Excel export creates Form 1, Form 2 and Form 3 sheets. JSON is the full record. Drafts save in this browser.
Limits
This is a report builder, not an accredited inspection system. It does not verify drawing revision, equipment calibration, measurement uncertainty or inspector qualification. Those remain the responsibility of the inspection organisation.
Is this an official AS9102 form?+
No. It follows the AS9102 Rev C logic for Forms 1, 2 and 3, but it is an independent report builder. Use the official customer form if your contract requires an exact AS9102 layout.
Does a blank measurement pass?+
No. A blank sample is counted as not measured. A characteristic only passes when at least one value is measured and every entered value is within the stated limits.
Where are my drafts stored?+
The report saves in the current browser, and the shareable inputs are carried in the URL. Nothing is uploaded unless you press the send button.
Can I load characteristics from a busbar drawing?+
Yes. In the busbar drawing generator, press “To FAI”. The builder loads the overall length, bar width and thickness, hole positions, bend angles and notes as characteristic rows.
Can I use this for PPAP?+
Yes, as a dimensional-results record, but PPAP also needs process flow, PFMEA, control plan, MSA and capability evidence. This tool does not generate those documents.
